The Dr. Crystal Cummings Scholarship Program is in honor of one of our graduates who was also a scholarship recipient. Due to medical complications, she died before fulfilling her dreams of becoming a certified medical doctor.
We will provide a limited number of scholarships to qualifying students enrolling in the Fall 2022 term in her honor.

A limited amount of funding is available for the Premedical Sciences, Preclinical Sciences, and Nursing Programs for the Winter and Summer 2022 admissions period. Students must demonstrate an inability to fulfill total tuition payments during this period to be eligible.

Process: Application accepted from students who gain enrollment into the program. The application form is available on the Ujuzi Management System.
Guyanese and other Caricom nationals are qualified for the “Caricom Community Grant,” established to assist Caricom nationals deserving students in the School of Medicine. The grant provides students with an annual $1000 towards their tuition fee. To maintain this grant, students must gain a Satisfactory grade (70% pass score per course).
